The police department is responsible for providing police services to the residents of our city and the many visitors enjoying tourism and trade in Mountain Home, Arkansas. If we can assist you, contact us. Service is our only product and we strive to make it the best.

It is our goal to inform the community about your police department's philosophy, programs, and operations. With this knowledge, the police and the community can work together in making our community a better place to live. We are confronted with community growth that requires a strong community policing effort to meet the present and future demands for police services. Working together, we can meet this challenge.

Multiple drug charges filed - search warrant served

On 4/1/2013, Mountain Home police, Arkansas State Police, Baxter County Sheriff’s Department and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 88 Carnation Drive. Law enforcement officers conducted a drug investigation during the last two weeks at a local apartment complex in Mountain Home. The investigation resulted in officers obtaining a search for the residence, which is located outside the City. The charges are the result of the sale of drugs in Mountain Home, sale of drugs at the residence and drugs located at the residence.

Jeffrey T Webster, 22 of Mountain Home, bond set at $25,000

-Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana), class A misdemeanor
-Furnishing Prohibited Articles, class B felony

Kari A Riddell, 29 of Mountain Home, bond set at $50,000

-(2) counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana), class D felony
-Delivery of a Controlled Substance (cocaine), class B felony
-Delivery of a Controlled Substance (ecstasy), class B felony
-Unlawful Use of a Communication Device, class C felony
-(4) counts of Distribution of Controlled Substance Near Certain Facilities, unclassified

The suspects were incarcerated into the Baxter County Detention Facility.
