It is our goal to inform the community about your police department's philosophy, programs, and operations. With this knowledge, the police and the community can work together in making our community a better place to live. We are confronted with community growth that requires a strong community policing effort to meet the present and future demands for police services. Working together, we can meet this challenge.

Failure to resgister as sex offenders and other arrests

On Wednesday, March 26th, five individuals were arrested at a Mountain Home residence on various charges. The arrests are result of a joint investigation by the Mountain Home Police Department, Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force, and Arkansas Department of Community Correction.

The individuals arrested and charges filed are as follows: 

DAMION JACKSON MCBRIDE, 36 of Mountain View, was arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (warrant) in Mountain Home, and a Parole Violation. Bond was set at $51,605.  

JASON M BRANNON, 32 of Mountain Home, was arrested for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Bond was set at $2,500.  

RICHARD BURGER, 37 of Mountain Home, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,000 

CHRISTOPHER CLARK, 33 of Mountain Home, was arrested on Body Attachment for Child Support - Baxter County Warrant.  Bond was set at $712. 

The following individuals were arrested on Baxter County arrest warrants: 

DANYELLE NICOLE ASTRY, 33 of Mountain Home

RICHARD BURGER, 37 of Mountain Home 

The individuals were incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center.
