Welcome to the Mountain Home Police Department online. We hope you find the department's website both informative and helpful.

The police department is responsible for providing police services to the residents of our city and the many visitors enjoying tourism and trade in Mountain Home, Arkansas. If we can assist you, contact us. Service is our only product and we strive to make it the best.

It is our goal to inform the community about your police department's philosophy, programs, and operations. With this knowledge, the police and the community can work together in making our community a better place to live. We are confronted with community growth that requires a strong community policing effort to meet the present and future demands for police services. Working together, we can meet this challenge.

Arrests: Commercial Burglary and Theft

Three suspects were recently arrested for a break-in and theft of property that occurred at the Mountain Home High School during February of this year. The break-in and theft of property was discovered on February 10th. Since the incident, the investigation developed evidence that caused arrest warrants to be issued. The items taken during the burglary were frozen pizzas, a scale, IHome speakers, and medication.

On 6/30/10, Cody Curtis Gott and Justin T Carney were arrested for the incident; Christian Blake Sisk was arrested on 7/2/10. The three 18 year old males are from Mountain Home.  They were charged with the following offenses.

  • Commercial Burglary, class C felony
  • Theft of Property, class A misdemeanor

They were incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center and later released after posting a $3,500 bond each.
