It is our goal to inform the community about your police department's philosophy, programs, and operations. With this knowledge, the police and the community can work together in making our community a better place to live. We are confronted with community growth that requires a strong community policing effort to meet the present and future demands for police services. Working together, we can meet this challenge.

Warrant Issued for Theft of a Prescription at Local Pharmacy

September 23, 2010 

An arrest warrant has been issued for Michael Garret McDaniel, 32 years old of Mountain Home for the theft of hydrocodone from Harps Pharmacy. The theft occurred on 9/18/10 at approximately 11:00 am, when McDaniel jumped over the counter at the pharmacy and grabbed a bottle of hydrocodone. He is charged with the following criminal offenses:

Commercial Burglary, a Class C felony 

Theft of a Prescription, a Class C felony 

Bond is set at $25,000 

Suspect description:

DOB 11-11-77

Height 5’ 10”

Weight 190-200

Eye color Green

Hair Brown 

The suspect was last seen wearing the clothing in the pictures provided for public viewing. The pictures were taken on the day of the theft. 

The police department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating this individual. Latest reports indicate he may have left the area and travelling out of state. Any information can be reported to the Mountain Home Police Department at 870-425-6336 or any law enforcement agency.
