Pursuant to a traffic stop on February 26, 2012, police arrested two individuals for misdemeanor and felony offenses. After the driver, Gina Payton, was arrested for misdemeanor offenses, police found approximately 22 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and other items used to package and sell methamphetamine. The items were located inside the vehicle stopped by police. Michelle Krzysztow was a passenger in the vehicle. As a result of the investigation, both were charged with drug offenses. The Arkansas State Police assisted with the investigation.
Gina Payton (female), 45 of Kansas City, Kansas was charged with the following:
Driving while License Suspended
Warrant for Non-Payment of fines Misdemeanor Court
Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, class A felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, class B felony
Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, class A felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, class B felony
Both subjects were incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center with bond set at $75,000 each.
