February 28, 2012
On 02/23/12, police received a report of a stolen motorcycle from a residence in Mountain Home. The motorcycle was a 2003 Suzuki valued at $3,500.
An Arkansas State Trooper stopped an individual driving the stolen motorcycle the morning of 02/23/12. At the time of the stop, the motorcycle had not been reported as stolen. The trooper realized he had stopped the stolen motorcycle and contacted Mountain Home police and provided information from the traffic stop.
Pursuant to the investigation, it was discovered the person stopped by the trooper was Charles Joshua Reynolds, 27 of Jonesboro, Arkansas. This was confirmed by comparing the photograph provided by the trooper to previous booking photographs of Reynolds.
Jonesboro police were notified and located Reynolds. He was arrested by Jonesboro police on unrelated local charges. The motorcycle was recovered. Reynolds was also charged by Mountain Home police with Theft of Property, a class D felony and is currently being held on a $25,000 bond in Jonesboro.
