The Community Resource Officer (CRO) serves as a contact point for members of the community requesting presentations on a wide variety of topics.  Serving as a liaison between the community and the police department, community input received by the CRO will assist in tailoring police services to meet the needs of the community. Additionally, the CRO will provide the community with information that will increase the citizen’s knowledge of law enforcement and operations of the police department.  

The presentations offered through the CRO include crime prevention, safety, and outreach programs. The success of this program is based on the public's participation. You can help by

• Inviting the CRO to make a presentation to your group or organization
• Making recommendations for how to make our community safer
• Alerting the CRO to patterns of problems in our community
