KIDS IN CARS
When we think of the many dangers
that threaten the safety of our young children every day,
seldom do some parents realize how dangerous leaving a child
unattended in a vehicle can be. Left unattended in a
vehicle, the child may be exposed to excessive temperatures,
abduction, and fire. The child may place the vehicle in
motion or exit the vehicle and become exposed to additional
dangers. When left unattended, even for a minute to conduct
an errand, tragic events may occur.
Kids in Cars is an organization
devoted to promoting public awareness and the prevention of
this dangerous occurrence. Through education and action, we
can make a difference in protecting our children. Please
take the time to visit their website at
www.kidsincars.org for safety tips, true stories,
educational materials, and a wealth of additional
information.
